I mean... is talking with your Pokemon really supposed to be something people wanted? It seems weird to me. I mean I know i nreal life if people could talk to their pets they would, but I thought Pokemon were supposed to emulate that relationship where you can figure how something or someone you're close with without having to speak and purely via empathy. They're animals and we're people but we can still connect with them. That sort of thing. Being able to talk with them feels like it's not the right message.

Evolution must've taken a weird turn and dumbed the pokemon species down, even though they're much stronger, humans took the advantage of encapsulating them.

They didn't always have pokeballs that could be easily carried around m8.
It was shown in the anime (take that as you will) that Pokemon could still be companions with or without pokeballs, like Lucario and Aaron.
The earliest "pokeballs" were apparently magical devices meant to keep dangerous pokemon imprisoned.
That closet thing to modern pokeballs that we've seen is that thing Young Oak used in Pokemon 4ever, and that had to be (assuming the anime is close to game in timeline) about maybe 40-50 years before Red/Ash began their journeyI'm aware this might sound retarded, but I couldn't figure out a better way to word it

Not sure if anybody has noticed this before, but Solgaleo is the Sun Pokemon, but his head looks like a compass rose, so Sun/Space, where as Lunala's body resembles the face of a clock, with it's tail looking like pendulum, so Moon/Time.
