Aaand 200 down. It's pretty much impossible without a Complexity, so I used +5, DD, and AP+ along with it to make sure I won. Finished with sevengrandmoves left using M-Gengar/Weavile/Hydreigon.
Of course, 3-mon stages are pure RNG and mileage will greatly vary with the same team and items.

There might be a slightly better chance you get to skip 150 if you pass, but that stage isn't that expensive yet anyway (DD and AP+ are rather safe).

The best strategy for 200 is all items with Gengar, Zoroark and Hydreigon. It still requires a bit of luck, but there shouldn't be any major problem if you can consistenly doing long combos

I did it with M+5 and DD and MS M-Rayquaza, but Sharpedo or Absol probably work as well. 150 is *way* easier than 100, I nearly managed 150 itemless. +5 moves might be enough, I took the DD to be sure and finished with 16 turns left. 200 looks like full items only, maybe skipping the mega start for M-Gengar, but I haven't actually reached it personally so that's just speculation.

You want big combos, so abilities become kinda useless and the disruptions are pretty weak. If you want to use a full Ghost team go for M-Banette, Giratina and Gengar, but I think that M-Gengar and two SE 80 base power is the safest option

Literally the one reason most people go for Manectric over Ampharos is Hitting Streak, even if Ampharos deals more damage both in regular and Mega form
Ampharos ability fucking sucking and both taking ages to go Mega does have something to do with it, but Hitting Streak prior to Mega Evolving isn't useless by any means
Besides, not a single Pokemon so far can go Mega with just a single match, not even max candied Medicham with a 5 match, ensuring even the slightest extra damage as you match icons to evolve the fucker definitely has its uses

You'll want to have at least one Block Breaker+, ideally Zekrom or Dialga. Nothing SE available. Hydreigon also works well against blocks, but has a worse proc rate. Weavile can also help by delaying disruptions.
Throw out Yveltal and Zoroark, they're completely useless for the set. Consider changing your mega too. Sometimes the initial board just fucks you over, so just deal with losses. Buy DD or M+5 if you got rage and need to make sure you beat the stage.

You'll need 40 small skill boosters to raise one of the best abilities to max. Ignoring the chance that Eevee drops a medium booster (however large that chance may be), you'll need 10 weeks and spend 30 jewels to max a single good ability Pokémon.
The actual number will be less, but it gives you a taste of what a shitty scheme this is. It's as if they want people to go supreme.

I've got a bit more success with Ho-oh as 4th mon (with Fug/Delphox/Magmortar)
Pretty sure it's a glitch, but when Pyre is activated, damage from Ho-oh is boosted in all matches for that combo (after AP, while Delphox matches are doing 430'ish, Ho-oh is dealing it upwards to 840 for 3-matches)

Ok, in order. Steelix has been useful in competitions and specials before, with the mega. Zoroark is just a good addition to a pure dark team, and in the Giratina escalation, was part of the best team for beating 200. Gardevoir is an useful fairy mega, not really that special though. Aegislash was useful to me a couple of times, but generally, not special. Entei/Suicune/Raikou were really useful early on, when there were barely any base 70s, they're useless now if you're a bit further into the game.
That said, all pokémon are worth having, even if you don't plan on using them, for situations like Magmortar in the Abomasnow competition.

Just completed 300. I can objectively say that M-Gengar, Hydreigon, and Absol is the best team for this stage.
On an all item run, Mind zap proc'ed on average about 2 out of every 3 turns, extending the disruption delay by 1 turn every time it did. Ginratina's disruption got delayed throughout the entire fight, making this fight relatively easy.

It would replace the empty slots with the additional/default Pokémon, which in most stages are shit like Buneary and Happiny. But in this case, it's rocks first, while C-1 gets rid of Buneary.
Went in with all items except M+5, which turned out to be quite risky, and won with two turns left. M-Aero, Giratina, Yveltal. Should be very safe with the extra DD turns if you include M+5.

Charizard's Burn is a status and doesn't work as long as DD is in effect. Whether MS is a smart idea or not for you, hard to tell. I just brought Zard in my second slot like everyone else.

So I just beat Kingdra with 0 moves left itemless with a Mega Sceptile team. Shaymin and Bellossom were definitely the MVPs here (I gave my skill boosters to shaymin so the slightly higher activation played a part) and Kingdra didn't disrupt once for me.
There was one Kingdra on the board I couldn't get rid of, so maybe bringing Tropius is a goo idea, though I did fine with Roserade.
If you want a really good catch rate, just bringing AP+ should be good enough.
