I'm guessing that its signature move either counts as both Fire and Steel-type for the purposes of calculating SE-Damage, or it's a Fire-type move that grants STAB if the user is Steel-type.

Both their signature moves - Sunsteel Strike and Moongeist Beam - ignore any opponent ability when calculating damage (and prob ignore ability-based immunities)
