Thats not my point in anyway shape or form, kalos is the only region soaked with the mega evolution energy pikachu was not born there nor would raichu be if ash evolved his pikachu while ash's greninja was born and raised in the land that birthed mega evolution.
Not to mention ash's lineage of aura being able to connect with pokemon in a way no one else can.
