After all the years I've had to deal with the battle towers and battle frontiers, it gets a bit old. Shit isn't even remotely difficult unless the RNG is outright cheating.
It doesn't help matters that porting your items forward from B/W/2 was a fucking impossibility, meaning you have to grind for all your shit again several times over unless you're content with only having one item per 'mon.
But hey, at least with previous games, there was something to fucking do besides the fucking Battle Maison.

To be honest all I want is a bunch of new Pokémon and at least a halfway decent post-game. That's literally all I care about. If they can do that I'm happy, though I also know that since it's a tropical region I'm gonna get like one new family for my favorite type, Ice. I hope they can at least make it good. We haven't had a decent non-legendary Ice-type since D/P.

Gen II sprites mostly looked like blobs and lots of them were shit (Sneasel being the worst)
Gen III was an oversaturated mess and most of the new Pokemon looked like they'd been done by someone who had looked at the official art once and drew them all from memory.
Gen IV was a slight improvement, but had shitty animations thrown on top.
Gen V was ok but there were lots of re-used sprites/poses, especially for older Pokemon and the animations looked fucking awful. They also had to make 2 sprites back and front with the same movement to keep shit consistent and that's a fucking waste of time.
