I want more Dinosaurs, a Triceratop or a Raptor would be ideal but whatever is fine.
>>
>>26548223
I mean we got Bastiodon...
>>
>>26548248
yeah but he doesn't have the distinct Tricera facial silhouette
>>
>>26548157
>>26548223
I would be pleased with a stegosaurus ankylosaurus or dimetrodon. But any dino done right is welcomed.
>>
>>26548353
>stegosaurus
>dimetrodon
these would be great, I think Torterra is quite similar to a ankylo
>>
>>26548248
Bastidodon

whoa

Typing that, I just realized it's not
>bass-DEE-doe-DON
it's actually
BASS-tee-oh-DON

Bastiodon. Damn.

Anyway, he was an ugly mistake. Not sure what the fuck they were thinking with that thing.
>>
We just had dinos, so I'm up for some more obscure stuff like a rock/fighting Chalicothere (basically a horse gorilla)
>>
>>26548157
Thank you anon(s) for making fossil threads a regular thing.

>>26549330
I'm hoping for this as well. I also wouldn't mind more archaelogical/anthropology based pokemon.
>>
- Spinosaurus
- Deinonychus
- Triceratops
- Megatherium
- any sauropod that doesn't suck
>>
>>26548157
I want a prehistoric pig pokemon. Or at least a pig pokemon that's part rock. Being a rock mono-type pokemon trainer is tough. Here's hoping against all hope that Litten's final evo is part rock. I don't care about the weaknesses I want a rock cat pokemon.

Sabertooth fossil pokemon when?
>>
>>26551794
I mean I'd argue Mamoswine fits that bill, but I get what you mean.

I've taken a liking to the Avatar training method over pure mono type runs, just for added variance.
>>
>>26551901
Mamoswine is Ice/Ground and is based off a Mammoth not really a prehistoric pig. Though the previous evolutions are based on truffle pigs and warthogs so I get why they wouldn't make another one.

I like your "Avatar" approach though. I always do monotype runs though.

Its a giant pig, that's like a mammoth, but not a mammoth. That's close enough for GF really.

Here's the sheet, still pretty restrictive but has enough wiggle room so you don't gotta import.

>he was an ugly mistake
you're a mistake
>>
>>26552447
That's actually really cool. I may do that from now on. I loved the Avatar series.

And you're right. We will probably never get a proper prehistoric pig.
>>
>>26548223
how about they give us a proper pterosaur before they do more dinosaurs
>>
>>26552447
Do you also do a nuzlocke with these rules? If so, how did it work out?
>>
>>26552844
Nuzlocking would be incompatible with these rules, since you gotta get specific typings.

Plus perma-death doesn't add difficulty anyway.

What would be a good Rock-Poison fossil?
>>
>>26553519
I would think a "Laophis" would work well. Basically a giant venomous snake.
>>
>Gen 1: Trilobite and Nautilus, and a pterodon
>Gen 2
>Gen 3: plant, sea scorpion
>Gen 4: Ceratops & pachycephlosaurus
>Gen 5: Proto-avian & ancient sea turtle
>Gen 6: Tyrannosaurus & brachiosaurus
>>26553519
Titanoboa.
>>
I guess a Laophis/Titanoboa would be the most probable if a bit boring. Unless they pulled out all the stops to make it stand out.
>>
I really liked Cradily/Lileep so I wouldn't mind more plants, maybe some megaflora like a Venus fly trap.

I also loved Relicanth and would adore a Megalodon shark. Or a prehistoric crab so I can have a bro for Kingler.
>>
>>26554004
A gen of aquatic fossil mons could be cool. Lots of nice choices. I'd love to see a dunkleosteus.
>>
>>26554004
The funny thing about Cradilly/Lileep is that they're actually worms, not plants.

Last thread someone said a Dunkleosteus would be a good evolution for Relicanth, and I'm inclined to agree.
>>
>>26553764
>pterodon

its not even close to being one
>>
>>26554518
What would you call aerodactyl?
>>
>>26554350
>>26554490
I like the dunkleosteus Relicanth idea. I wouldn't mind more aquatic fossils this gen either.
>>
>>26554549
a dragon that's loosely based on a pterosaur
>>
>>26554609
like gee i dunno maybe a PTERODACTYL
>>
>>26554619
yeah but it's not a pteranodon, as it doesn't have the thing on its head or a beak.
>>
>>26554549
>>26554609
>>26554619
their intention probably was a pterodon, its just an incredible inaccurate/outdated depiction of one.

at best its a very early pterosaur that still has a lot of lizard like features

Rampardos best fossil. Kabutops, Tyrantrum, and Carracosta just behind.

Funnily enough there's a genus of pterosaur named Aerodactylus now.

>>26554708
Tyrantrum is the best fossil.

wew, thats smaller than I thought
I'm a manlet and have the same height that rampardos
>>
>>26548394
I always used to say it Bastodion
>>
>>26552497
Agreed. I love that it's a big docile goofy looking thing.
