It was the first Ba'al of chapter 6, used that fall in love ability and crashed when the other party member tried to mimic their attack. I thought it was because they didn't have access to it, but I reload and do the exact same fight, and almost beat it before it uses that skill, and the game freezes right before executing the next attack.
First time gave an error message and CTD, second just froze the game, had to hold the power button.
Also had it freeze once in a while when I'd try to start selecting menu options when the little end of turn status messages were still displaying.

Comparing a handheld game to a console game. Really? Also why the hell are gamers so obsessed with graphics to the point they care more about the graphics than they do gameplay? Do you not understand what will be created if game developers put all of their focus on graphics over other aspects like gameplay or mechanics? They produce shit like The Order: 1886 which looks absolutely gorgeous graphically but then you actually get to the gameplay and realize it's just a walking simulator, you looking at things for about 5 minutes, cover shooting. and the exact same enemies over and over. That game was made to test the limits of the PS4 but instead they made it more like a 6 hour movie which actually turned out to be a prologue the entire time. This is the problem with a lot of gamers, you don't know what you fucking want and even when you get what you want you still find something to complain about or yell about how the game isn't how you wanted it to be. They don't. Programming pokemon is not hard, their problem is hardware restriction. They literally have empty space in their cartridges because the hardware can't print more polys.
And the fact that PSVita and smartphones on japan exists is enough proof that they can make better hardware, they just choose not to.

This. While sure, it's true that I'd love for the models to be a stable fps, I still think that it's nice to see the style of Pokemon stay relatively the same. People who act as if they know how games are made are tiring.
