I'm very new to Pokemon. X/Y is my first game and I'm loving it so far. Pic related is my fav.
My question is why are there no console Pokemon games? Or at least recently. And I mean RPG ones not the Pokken shit they just came out with.

Pokemon was conceptualized as a handheld game and that's how it's stayed. The main demographic is children, and kids tend to have access to handheld systems more often than consoles, so that's how the development stays.
