This. Although I threw mine away at the moment national pokedex handbooks began to exist. I remember having all the animedex handbooks except the Hoenn edition as I was this dedicated to memorize all the pokemon.
I have 2 plus the deluxe somewhere. This was the shit back in the day

Yep, got mine at a book fair in kindergarten or first grade right when Pokemon started to hit the states. I was the coolest because I had all the info on the Pokemon before everyone else.
