I want the old regional adventures with up-to-date mechanics. Though DPPt are honestly up to date enough for me, I'd rather have another Kanto remake or sequel or something to implement the Phys/Spec split, and hopefully renovate the region to make it more interesting as a setting.I was perfectly fine with ORAS anyways whether it was rushed or not. Yeah, I wish Pokemon would do more little on the side things. I'd like a game to have a lot of little optional scenarios along the road similar to the anime filler, or a lot more quests like the Looker Bureau.
What I would've loved to have seen the most in a Z would've been a Looker Bureau length quest for every major character in the story and Gym Leader to flesh them out, with a climax in a new dungeon or new areas in an old one.

1) More in-depth view of Team Galactic. Basically immersed in the story more and make them a little more challenging.
2) Make the gym leaders more memorable. Because I'm tired of people saying they don't remember the Gen 4 gym leaders.

ORAS improved all the Magma folk, Aqua guys though I think their redesigns are too over the top. Their writing was fine though.
Galactic is already plenty memorable though, so they don't need any heavy rehauls at all. Simple updates of the design are the most they should get, maybe a bit more difference in personality of Jupiter and Mars.

They had a retro futuristic look and they made it look good. It's like when you'd read an old comic about how in the future everything is centered around a conformity and homogenization look. I liked it a lot. And it fit with Cyrus' literal autism.

in DP you basically fight them as soon as they're summoned and they never do anything.
I also want the Underground to come back and be expanded. I remember that being a big part of Sinnoh even though I never played it in multiplayer.

You're thinking about it in a MMO way. You could just organize a room with cetain friends. While I like your idea, I fear the assholes may put exclusive stuff in each area and it'd be a bigger pain than the Vivillons.
I don't want remakes of these.The games wouldn't see much improvement, just the same game in 3D. They aren't needed like gen I and II needed them.
In a couple of years, when Pokémon gains more new stuff, we'll see if remakes of DP could be a good idea.

It would be nice for DP remakes to slightly implement Distortion World by having it so Cyrus has actually called the legend by the time you're done at Galactic HQ, and the effects of his control over them start to be seen and altercations to the timeline or universe spread out from Mt. Coronet.
So as you go through it to get to Spear Pillar, it gets all distorted and corrupted in strange ways, with different time periods of the mountain phasing in in Diamond, or areas all over Sinnoh being pieced into the mountain in Pearl, both with little bits and pieces of Cyrus' planned world coming in as well.
And once the whole thing is over you can revisit to experience normal Mt. Coronet and grab the other version's Orb at Spear Pillar, and you can bring Dialga/Palkia with you to revisit the distorted Coronet.
To not be slow as fuck. Replaying gen4 games is a pain in the ass.
