I always thought Chikorita looked sorta like a small root-looking thing, like a turnip or a potato, just not lumpy enough to be a tater. It's legs looked kinda rooty to me too.

Would Chikorita have been better as a Grass/Ground type? Would Mega Meganium be better if it got to be Grass/Ground with Earth Power instead of staying mono-grass? Would that have put it on the same level as Mega Typhlosion?
