Guys, shut the fuck up about the starters. I have a more pressing issue.
What ancient creatures do you think Sun & Moon's fossils are going to be based on?
Type Combos that haven't been used for a Fossil or other pokemon yet off the top of my head:
>Rock/Poison
>Rock/Fire
>Rock/Grass
>Rock/Fighting
>Rock/Bug
>Rock/Ghost
>Rock/Electric
>Rock/Dark
Assuming they go for entirely new type combinations, what are you hoping for? What creatures from a bygone era do you want to see brought back?
>>26517930
>Rock/Ghost
A skeleton
>>26517939
>skellington
Chiang Ching Chong says no
>>26517930
Rock/Electric spinosaurus with jacob's ladders for spines
Rock/Dark velociraptorit seems you forgot about gen 3's fossils
>>26517930
>>Rock/Grass
What is cradily
>>26517930
>Rock/Grass
What is Cradily?
>>26517930
>Rock/Grass
>Rock/Bug
What are the Hoenn fossils?
I think they're going to do deep-sea creatures this time.
>>26517930
There have already been Rock/Bug and Rock/ Grass
>>26517946
>>26517952
>>26517953
I did say off the top of my head, fuck if I can remember the fossils from a forgettable generation.
>>26517960
>most forgettable
>not gen 2
>>26517960
Dude, we are talking about Hoenn, not Sinnoh
>>26517967
Well Gen 2 didn't even have any new fossilmons, what a disgrace.
>>26517953
>>26517958
Can we get another Anorith?
Except this time it keeps that general body shape after it evolves.
>>26517930
>Velociraptor - Fossil Pokémon
>Type: Rock/Dark
>Ability: Tough Claws
>HP: 65
>ATK: 120
>DEF: 80
>SPATK: 70
>SPDEF: 60
>SPD: 125
>BST: 520
>>26517930
I wish they would stop with this rock type bs and start using more creative types for fossils.
Rock/Electric ancient caveman pikaclone
Rock/Dark Raptor
Rock/Ghost Hallucigenia
>>26517930
What about a parasaulophus?
Rock/Electric
A prehistoric pokemon that used his crest as a lightning rod, and generated electricity while running long distances.
>>26517930
So many fossil threads lately. I love it!
I'm actually hoping for a Megladon or Entelodont pokemon. But I'll use whatever because I always do a rock monotype playthrough first.
>>26518000
But it literally makes the most sense. They're revived from their fossils. You can't just have a fossil pokemon be fire/dark or whatever.
Don't even think of bringing up Mamoswine. The Pokedex states that they're just the ones who survived the Ice Age and aren't actually fossils.
Ankylosaurus or Spinosaurus would make me cream my pants
Also not the 4 legged one the Two legged Spino I dont want science in my damn pokemon game
>>26518017
I had to look up what a hallucigenia was but now I need it
>>26517976
>Hoenn
>Not forgettable
It's a region full of shitmons
>>26517930
I want a Rock/Fighting ancient primate. Give it a caveman theme.
>>26518068
Mention a pokemon from sinnoh besides starters, pseudo-legendary shark, furfag bait and previous pokemon evolutions, that is not a shitmon.
Rock/Water Megalodon and Rock/Dark Moa (giant prehistoric land-bound bird)
>>26518088
Toxicroak
>>26518055
Steel, Ground and Ice also make sense but they never use them as primary types.
>>26518594
We've already had a Steel and an Ice fossil. No Ground one, but Rock/Ground is present in the Geodude line.
>>26518594
I guess those would also work, you're right.
2-stage Rock/Electric Dimetrodon or Stegosaurus
2-stage Rock/Fighting Raptor
1-stage Rock/Water Megalodon
@26517930
<Tyranitar
<Cradlily
<Armaldo
>>26518781
I legitimately forgot Tyrannitar existed. The switch from Weather Wars to obscurity hit it hard.
>>26518781
Fucking summer I swear
Rock/Psychic
Mayan Calender pokemon
Doesn't really fit in with the fossil theme, but I just came up with it. If you branch it out to anthropology and archaeology it could work though.
>>26518835
Also wouldn't fit with the Hawaii region, but maybe if there are other islands that you can travel to?
