Speaking of trademarks and the sort. How does GF file them? Like by now or in like a month shouldn't more show up? Like do they only trademark the ones they show or will show. Do they do it in like a mega list with all Pokemon trademarked?

For gen 6, I think the majority of the new Pokemon names were found all at once. I'm pretty sure we had them all around April at least, including event legendaries (though we didn't know it at the time). Of course, a lot of those names didn't mean much, because translation is hard (people thought Greninja was a moon moth and that we were getting a wolf Pokemon) and we were all expecting more Pokemon besides those found. Others, like Chesnaught's Japanese name, were really obvious as to what they were, but didn't tell us anything more about the Pokemon that wasn't already expected. So it wasn't really that big of a deal, not when the Fairy debate was a thing and the Pokebeach leaks existing.

The Japanese name for mars is firestar literally so it's likely the third legend will be based on stars/shadows in some way..
My guess is that it will be more sinister than both box legends, like giratina.

I hope Marshadow is antagonistic. Most 3rd version legends usually come in to save the day. Closest we got to the 3rd mascot being a threat was Kyurem.
I think Mashadow is some ghost or dark type NFE shitmon. The third legendary is usually the last thing revealed, but all of the other trademarks are for things that they were getting ready to reveal.
