I made him work in Emerald. He evolves early so ends up carrying early game for a bit. After Brawly he kinda took the backseat and became my Rock Smasher. Then I defeated Winona and he learned Crunch and Take Down. Shortly after I taught him Shadow Ball after climbing Mt. Pyre. He was major help against Liz and Tate and could decimate Phoebe alone.Still rather weak in stats but still a major bro.

Mightyena is perfectly usable in PvE, especially considering he has two good abiities and access to Fire Fang and Play Rough. Used him recently in AS and he was perfectly fine.
