I caught myself watching one of those vgc tournaments in the last couple days and I have to say.
Man, do these kids look depressed. If you watch it it feels like they're getting their dicks cut should they lose.

I know, but when I think about pokemon I imagine happy people having fun and a good time. Competition or not, these kids look like they got issues. Real issues, not spoiled fat american issues. I could be wrong, but it felt uncomfortable most of the time. The guy/woman who sit next to them didnt look very happy most of the time either. It felt like they were all embarassed to be playing pokemon in front of people, even though those watching it both live and at home were there because they like to do it anyway.
