That's the opposite of what we see here.
Litten's middle evo developed a shaggy main and a lot of muscle. So naturally the final stage would have MORE mane and MORE muscle. But it loses those two traits to become sleek and without a mane. That's why they're fake. That's never happened in any starter evolutionary line.
The one shown as the final form would make sense as the middle stage and the bulky thing with a mane should be the final stage if these weren't fake.

See, I can be wrong. Anyone can be wrong about these, don't just take everything a person says as actual facts, chances are, the evidence aren't either sufficient or simply made up. It's like forged evidence in a crime scene, it doesn't really help at all getting to the bottom of it all. Litten's final evolution is far too realistically drawn for the Pokemon series. The other final evos stick out like a sore thumb as well but this is the one that stuck out the most for me. It's just an incredibly thin mountain lion or similar with a flame at the end of its tail. Even "realistic" Pokemon (e.g. Persian I guess) have little parts in their design to indicate that it's cartoony. The tube limbs, the puffy unrealistic-looking paws, stylized whiskers, etc. If the middle evo was leaked by itself I would believe it; it fits closer to the general design direction they go with in the series. But either way, try and place these designs in with a bunch of existing Pokemon. What is the first thing you notice? They look out of place. They look outlandish, awkward, they don't fit in with the rest of the designs. Yes you can complain about "wahh shitty gen 5/6 designs don't look like REAL Pokemon" but at a glance you can tell they're Pokemon. These fake evos look like they belong in a different game series. I apologize that my argument doesn't reach out further than "they aren't designed in a way that is typically used for Pokemon designs", and if you're unfamiliar with art that argument is going to be weak, but if you don't believe me then study the existing designs yourself then compare them to the leaked ones. You'll see the visual cues I'm seeing which are indicating to me that these aren't real.
Also, outside of the one time when the person leaked the gen 5 starters and datamining-related incidents, when have any leaks been real? There haven't been, correct? The final evo for Popplio seriously doesn't look at all like Pennywise, at least not the famous miniseries Tim Curry version, other than whatever features they have in common because they are clowns. People are away overexaggerating the creep factor of that last evo, like by a lot. It really isn't that creep at all. You wouldn't think anything of it were colored differently and we didn't know it was supposed to be a clown.
The final evo for Rowlet just has a hood... is being a hooded thing too "dark?" It also makes very a very interesting potential visual gimmick for battle animations, Amie, etc.

If this Rowlet line is real, I'm going to have a new Pokemon among my favs. Litten looks amazing as well. Popplio's line isn't really my thing, but I still see why people like it so much and I appreciate it.

Rowlet

Owlsassin makes sense. It is the fully developed concept of a stealthy, silent fighter that attacks from a distance or uses its sturdy legs for powerful kicks.
Litten
>Litten can attack with flaming hairballs! Its fur is rich in oils and immensely flammable. Litten grooms itself by licking its fur, and then uses the collected fur as fuel for fireball attacks! When the time comes for Litten to shed its old fur, it all burns up in a glorious blaze.
It's fur is immensely flammable, which is why its tail begins to ignite. In its second stage, it seems that it is getting ready to "shed its old fur" as it is now built up considerably in the front of its body, which it does in its final form.
Popplio
>Popplio's swimming speed is known to exceed 25 mph. It's better at moving in the water than on land. Still, when it's on land, it takes advantage of the elasticity of its balloons to perform acrobatic stunts and jumps.
Popplio looks like an acrobat>juggler>clown transformation here. Note how the white lines in popplio's fins widen it its second stage to become hand-like, and then fully separate into fingers in the final stage.
These could be real or fake, but in either case they're damn good and make sense.

Gains a larger article of clothing as the bow tie around its neck becomes a hood. The feather knife remains and it is expanded upon as the third stage gains an even more apparent assassin theme. This remains consistent with the circus theme as it becomes reminiscent of the knife thrower. It's long legs are most likely a detail from Burrowing Owls.
A mix of Knife Throwing, Long Legged Owls and Assassins.

The second stage gains a jester like appearance and juggling balls made of water, entirely consistent with the clown motif. The dark coloring on it's tail is similar to that of tights, which circus limber performers often wear. It also becomes more upright in stature despite it's lower body, which extends into the last evolution. This is probably a reference to the amazing upper body strength of sea lions. The leotard like pattern as well as very defined torso and arms play well into the idea that it might be a Strongman Fighting type. It also gains a goofy head of clown hair and gloves for the clown idea. The juggling balls becomes a single large ball that is usually associated with circus seals.
A mix of Clowns, Strongmen, Preforming Seals and possibly Acrobatics.
>Litten
It's first stage has a tail similar to that of a bomb fuse and the second stage has it lit. It also gains a wild head of hair similar to that of an explosion as well as a corsair marking upon it's face. This is very reminiscent of explosives which works with the fire hairball projectile Litten is drawn with. The final stage gains a much sleeker body and more simplistic markings. The corsair upon it's face remains as well as the lit tail which makes it look very much like a cannon about to be set off.
A mix of Circus Lions and Explosives, specifically cannons.
They really are great designs and it's gonna suck when they are debunked in the future. They also remind a bit of pirates but that's overreaching.
I'm finding it really hard to believe these are fake even though there are details, much like >>26506027 and >>26506300 implied.
Because it really does take a lot of brainstorming to even come up with just a quarter of these designs. Can you really say this was all made up by just one person?
Most people would do is slap something elegant for Popplio, even though Popplio is not a seal but rather a sea lion, a guardian-like or also elegant evolution for Rowlett or something "polite" and something resembling a blazing lion for Litten. At least I've seen some people actually coming up with a panther for Litten.
Who knows, maybe these leaks had more than one artist behind it and it all ends up being fake as fuck. But I find it really hard to believe just one person alone came up with all these designs.

Honestly I think all the explanation and justification of Litten's evolutions ia reach, like the bomb and cannon shit. But it still remains there's probably some explanation behind it that isn't readily apparent (I do buy into the shedding its fur explanation a bit more, but the design seems like a weird way to sell it, I'd have made it all on fire on the second or something and made it clearly poofy in the first stage with the last stage remaining sleek and smooth if that was the intended motif...) which means there's probably some good thought put into it.
