Holy shit this is what we need. It doesn't rehash the idea, island turtle is a natural evolution from patch of grass and tree turtle, and it provides a fresh new concept for a mega evo without being so drastic a change it requires an evolution. If it is true it'd also mean that the rest of the sinnoh starters are getting one too, which means my favorite pokemon will have an mega finally.
