Hoenn introduced the same amount of ice types as Sinnoh.
Four of Six of Sinnoh's new ice types were evo add ons and three lines were locked into the post game in dp, hell you could use more ice types in Hoenn, I know Platinum added the three other ice type lines, but it still bugs me to an extent.
It also bugs me that the survival area is all tropical when its next to Snowpoint and you have to sail through icebergs to get there.
Don't worry, there will still probably be enough ice areas and pokemon even if they're shoehorned in.
