Will Sun & Moons color palette be less washed out than in gen 6?
No because it's meant to emulate the style of official art, and we've already seen new models and they are still the same way

Based on that thread where people were doing frame by frame recolors of the gifs of the model animations, I think part of it is also how incredibly eye searing some of the colors could be if they didn't try to do this >>26490517.
Some of them looked pretty good, though. It'd be nice if there was some sort of saturation option, I supposed.
