Despite its slow pacing can we all agree that Gen 4 was one of the comfiest as one of the most grandiose regions. It had its flaws but I always find myself wanting to wrap up and do another playthrough of Platinum.

Why do people make threads like this? Especially with the wording "can we all agree"? No, this is /vp/, we can't all agree. Especially with something like this, which is completely subjective. Johto is also really great! I've just always felt like Sinnoh had such a warmth and coziness to it. It really felt like you were exploring a massive world.

Getting Platinum for very cheap from someone Saturday, because honestly emulation just doesn't do it.
I actually don't remember much about Platinum, I mostly just remember DP, but people say Platinum is far superior.

Yes. Sinnoh was one of my favorite regions along with Hoenn. It hurts gamefreak has purposefully dumbed the game down because I loved the difficulty curve and heavy emphasis on exploration in Emerald and Platinum.
You're not supposed to feel comfortable on an adventure. The only place I liked in the entire region was the fucking eternal blizzard.

4th gen was my second-least favorite, but SInnoh was DEFINITELY the best region. Maybe not comfiest, since Johto exists, but the overall layout is top-notch. The way Coronet ties everything together is fantastic.
