She got worried because he spent a night alone in the forest pondering about greninja after getting it badly hurt because of his own pride and selfishness. She shows up and offers her help. He gets agitated and screams to be left alone. She tells him he hates the current Ash, and misses the positive one that wouldn't give up until the end. She snowballs him to death and runsaway. As soon as she leaves he realizes she is right. Later on the episode she regrets treating him like crap but he apologizes first admitting his mistake. She then welcomes him back 'home'.
