Was thinking about this the other day.
Old /vp/ was pretty much just as bad as it is now, just with a different coat of paint.
The only 'nostalgia' I have, though, was the whole Fairy type debacle which was glorious to watch unfold.
Now, eh, feels kinda the same, but everyone seems to take it way too seriously. The whole 'muh-best-gen' shit is way too common. No one cares.

It was comfy during B/W leak season and when it was /tr/ and a lot of talented drawfags congregated around here.
It kind of just went downhill after B/W2 was announced and X/Y season was the most cancerous this board has ever been and ever will be.
