What are some minor things you'd like to see from SM?
I think it'd be fun to get a regional fish with a ridiculously long name (pic related).
How many islands do think SM will have?
Where will they fit a desert region?
What else would you like to see?

Also, I think there's a high chance of getting a dolphin mon this gen, either water/fairy or water/psychic.
I'm hoping for a LOT of water types and a more involved method of fishing, instead of just tossing the bait in and pressing A.

Only desert in the series I liked was Unova's.
Hawaii has a desert and a ski resort, but I hope they don't include both an ice zone and desert region.
I feel like it cheapens the regional maps and design if they all wind up containing the same kinds of routes, even if it makes sense or appropriately reflects the real world.
No true fossil pokemon, but instead recently extinct animal pokemon.

There are large lizards on the islands, so one that evolves into a Komodo dragon-like lizard would be fine. What Type(s) would it be, though? I'm leaning toward either Normal or Ground.
