The saddest thing is its not even that hard to do, they have the framework and the things that were needed to make it work well already exists. It all just needs to be implemented to work in the way we want it to but they simply do not want to go that route.

You and I both know that screenshots are not going to happen. But I can tell you a few things.
>You do not choose a "team" until you first visit a Gym. Once you visit your first Gym you get the option to choose between Red, Blue or Yellow.
>Gyms are more common than I anticipated. Honestly thinking it would be one per town/area it seems to be the polar opposite as my small two mile town has something within the vicinity of 10 Gyms with a shitload of Pokestops.
>Not every Ingress Portal is made into a Gym/Pokestop, however it seems that the generation of Gyms/pokestops are random and not intentional for the wide extent (some random plaques and churches became gyms while the town's historical theater became nothing).
>Finding pokemon is kinda difficult, you have a nearby tab that shows what pokemon are nearby via meters, but the nearby tab only shows Pokemon within the 100m-150m-200m range. Once above 200m it disappears, and under 100m it appears on screen. That said you can end up walking around in circles before you know if you are getting close to said pokemon or farther away. In some cases it may simply vanish all together no matter how close you might get to finding it.
