What exactly are the settings on the server? Haven't actually joined because I haven't bothered to reinstall Crayfish on my new machine, and seeing shit like stone brick, ice, and sea lanterns used so liberally makes me wonder if people are really grinding for all that material. Same deal with seeing NPC shopkeepers inside structures that haven't spawned naturally.

We basically build everything from scratch. The only thing we ask mods for are NPCs and spawners for mystery dungeons, but everything else is gathered manually.

Some being one person or a collection of people just helping out fellow people on the server to get materials.
You'd be surprised how dedicated people are to gathering and building shit, see Axx for example building a huge city as well as community builds that we all participate in.
eUlq was a single builder that put heart and soul into one town alone for a good long time to get even one person to come move in, and even accommodated by building a nether route to it due to how far out the town was.
Moonruin was a collection of people, yes some maymayish due to shills but they made a great looking Mesa town that people loved.
I know I'm missing a few more but all and all everyone is always willing to provide for each other to make the server better and still keep it all natural non-creatively built.
(Besides from spawn of course that was provided by Gary and Rowan.)

So I've been using the Pixelmon launcher, and it seems to want to use Forge 1.8.9-11.15.1722 instead of -.1808 despite having dropped the correct version of Forge into the launcher. Because of that it won't run the Crayfish file in the OP, and in turn I can't join the server. The Launcher itself isn't allowing me to select the appropriate Forge version.
