You people never seen Japanese cartoon tigers have you? They always draw the same standard forehead stripe (a line at the middle with many horizontal lines dissecting it), in fact they call it a king stripe due to how similar it is to the king kanji (王).

also, the symbol that they're saying it represents would need for a figure-8 at the bottom ( people are saying the eyes form this, I guess that could work but it's pretty weak)
And even beyond that, that isn't even the primary symbol for sulfur. That symbol is a way more obscure one that was barely ever used.
