Would you be okay with gf adding an additional pokemon ability/skill? Maybe like cut being a skill rather than a move?
I'd legitimately love if added second abilities to non legendary pokemon who don't have one for some asinine reason.
I'm confident that someday, Gamefreak is going to add a new item to pass down abilities through breeding.
I wouldn't really like HMs as abilities, but I'd like some of the worse moves to be something other than, well, moves.
Also, with TMs being reusable there's no need to make HMs unforgettable anymore.
It would be cool if they added a slot for each pokemon to have an HM move without taking up an attack. On the Pokemon screen you would have summary, HMs, item, switch, etc. You could have a ton of difderent obstacles, and to make it challenging each mon can only have 1 hm at a time. Bo route would have more than 5 different obstacles. Move deleter can have a wife who lets you erase HMs so you can put a different one on your pokemon.

Sorry shit phone keyboard. Alternately each pokemon could have several slots for HMs and routes could have lots of obstacles, including new ones.
