At what point did the series generally start getting shit designs to you?

I don't remove anything from the first few gens because even if say Gen 3 had some crap, the likes of Groudon makes up for it.
I saw some warning signs by Gen 4, and by Gen 5 I gave up. Gen 5 was a mistake.
Gen 6 was okay, but perhaps I'm lenient towards it because there weren't as many of them.
Every gen has some hits and some misses, and if I put away my biases and actually count how many I like from each gen, it's always pretty close to the same across the board.
No gen is entirely bad. No gen is entirely good. Every mon has a fan out there somewhere.

Everything from Gen 4 that isn't a cross gen (pr)evolution is hideous trash except for Luxray, Bronzong, Toxicroak, Carnivine, Gastrodon, and Rotom. Remove the rest.
Gen 5 fucked up by having two trios. Remove all four horsemen and the Samefag Formes of the genies. The Therian formes can stay. Personally I'd axe Basculin and the Tympole line as well, but they aren't particularly as offensive as the others I'm listing.
Gen 6 had excellent designs, except for every single fucking awful Fairy type they shat out. Remove all of them, Megas not included, and have Goodra redesigned so that it doesn't ruin it's line.
There, Pokémon is fixed. Now there are no shitty designs.

Remove Voltorb, Electrode, Magneton, Dugtrio, Grimer, Muk, Foongus, Amoongus, Trubbish, Garbordor, Vanilite, Vanilish, Vaniluxe, Spritzee, Aromatisse, Swirlix and Slurpuff, and all megas except the few that actually look like real evolutions (like Charizard X or Audino). Then I'd be fully content.
Honestly, Generations 4 and 6 have been the most disappointing to me.
I'd probably remove Gen 4 though, most of the designs were inexcusably bad with a few exceptions.

Pokemon that grow things on them when they kinda stress me out too like the Gurdurr/Conkeldurr, particularly if they can remove it. I don't know it just bothers me. Is it part of them? Do they evolve and it shows up or they pick it up? If they evolve with it do they feel pain in it? Fuck that honestly

My headcanon on the matter has always been that those objects are initially found, and become kind of bound to the Pokemon. Think, like, Harry Potter wands.
For instance, a young Timburr will head out onto the woods to find a proper beam or branch to use as its weapon. The weapon becomes an extension of itself, in that Timburr never, ever lets the thing leave its side.
When Timburr evolves, the branch changes form as well, becoming the rest of the "weapons" you see by the same weird fucking magic that evolution is.
It doesn't feel pain because it's still just a weapon. But it's a weapon which is bound to the Pokemon by a mysterious force which humans don't understand. Maybe martial artists have tried to study and mimick it with their own weapons. That sort of shit.

I guess that would make sense yeah I prefer to believe that then that it being an actual part of its body; but then on the same note there are Pokemon like Hitmonchan for instance, who grows the appearance of clothes and boxing gloves? Or Machocke/Champ with the belt (I like to believe that they don't evolve with it, and they just win it, but still you know what I mean?) (and Throh and Sawk??) Hitmonchan, unlike Primeape, evolves and gets a typical boxing outfit, while Primeape's hands just look like gloves but you can tell they're its hands
I don't know there's something very unsettling to me about Pokemon that have/evolve with accessories? Even if'ts something as simple as Farfetch'd's leek stalk or Hypno's clock thing you know. My brain knows that logically there's an explanation why, but it doesnt make it less uncomfortable to me
In other hand it doesn't bother me if it's like Torterra or Tropius, they grow things off of their body, Torterra has a mini forest on its back, Tropius seems like grows bananas on its neck, like I don't I look at that and im like "yeah, it works" because it's like a real banana and a real tree that is only growing because of the Pokemon's body being able to do that because Pokemon, but w/ those I mention before it just kills the man
