I feel a little bad, but I agree. YouTube has devolved into egotistical media-whores pandering to prepubescent audiences through lowest-common-demoninator content such as funny noises and spouting memes. Even at its best, "watching other people play games" is not a form of entertainment that should be financially or culturally viable.
I'm not saying this to be contrarian or "edgy" or whatever, I genuinely don't understand the appeal of any of Youtube's gaming content.
