Why dont people use green guy

Idk I thought it was kind of cool considering its the only monotype flier in the game. They just made the others really strong and he didn't get any sort of gimmick to discern it from the others(besides typing but that doesn't count). They did give its Therian form regenerator which is one of my favorite abilities but that's the only reason I remember him. I think most people would just type "who?"
He can be good in random battles so just hope you get him there. It will be the only place he performs well in. The old STAB flying gem acrobatics is all it's good for

One of the first prankster pokemon and the only moves that it learns by level up that activate prankster are agility, tailwind, raindance, and swagger. Swagger and agility are passable but swagger is banned by smogon so competitively useless. The other two have nasty plot and swords dance. Sure it's mostly not relevant to have stat buffing moves with priority but Tornadus didn't even get the good ones.
