Just make it stand up, so it'd make sense for it to use its swords. Maybe add a few redesign a few details so it doesn't look like it would fall over, or look too weird and such.
I mean, we already got the attack animation where it draws its sword, and several pokemon's stances have been changed in their srites before

It would look awesome if it leant back on its tail, spinning around and jumping into a samurai stance with swords raised
But of course that won't happen and we'll forever have this generic four legged stance that doesn't fit one bit

Samurott is Wasted Potential: The Pokemon. What could have been a badass Water/Fighting Samurai became a quadraped stupid animal. Its basic physical shape inhibits it from doing any swordfighting.
Its design is garbage and it ruined it's evolutionary line.
