it's not a bad type relationship either, because fire resists fairy and psychic is weak to ghost.
songaleo will probably be a bulky mixed attacker and lunaala will be fast special attacker.

Let me elaborate.
Every generation, people try to shove 2 types onto the newly revealed legendaries ("Xerneas will be Grass/Electric/Psychic/Steel clearly"), when in fact every single big legend that was dual typed so far, was either part Flying due to simply being airborne, or part Dragon because GF thinks it makes them more epic or whatever.

The only way it would make sense for them to both be dual-types, is if they shared at least one type (while Lunaala not having the otehrwise highly likely option of being /Flying in that case) to represent their "space"-theme.
However, in a japanese tv-spot, we see Lunaalas forehead-symbol, and rather than it being similar to the Moon logo (since Solgaleo does have a Sun-logo symbol on its forehead), it has a symbol that anyone will immediately associate with the Psychic type.
And because there is nothing on Solgaleos symbol screaming Psychic, it implies to me that Psychic is Lunaalas "elemental" type to rival Solgaleos Fire type.
Hence Fire and Psychic/Flying
No room for Dark (which doesn't even make sense as much sense as Ghost would, for not just fitting the theme, but also explaining the skeletal body better), or Fairy (just because the 2 moves with moon in their name are Fairy, doesn't mean moon is exclusively Fairy-related. Also, Cresselia)
