Didn't play in like a year, what's the best method to inject / hack pokemon right now? My firmware and game are still old enough for the qr code exploit thing but I was wondering if there's anything more convinient by now.

Can I edit my the .pk6 files that are on my game? That is to say, can I take a mon I caught or hatched, tweak its stats, and then inject it back to the game?
