Hey faglads I'm playing Platinum for the first time. So far the only Pokémon I've seen that I like are Empoleon and Gliscor.
Are there any other ugly fucks I should consider using this generation, or should I stick to the superior designs of the ones before it?

Gliscor is a good pick. You catch Gibles pretty early. In that cave under the bridge. Try Garchomp.

I'm doing a Platinum run right now, about to head to Sunyshore City. I'm using Torterra, Staraptor, Luxray, Floatzel, Gliscor, and Froslass.

Okay so I'm seeing a lot of support for Froslass, I'm gonna go with one of those. I also decided on Roserade cuz I've seen its rather a staple on Gen 4 teams and I've personally never used one.
Two slots left, I'd like to see more opinions, namely;
Which fossil is best? I've got an eye on Rampardos...
And who should I use for Fly? Yanmega is sweet but he can't learn it. Can Gliscor? If not, how's Honchkrow?

last two slots are for Bibarel and Tropius. HMs are used a lot in Sinnoh, to the point where it's inconvenient to leave HM slaves out of the party.

Can't do Bibarel, I've used him before. Tropius is my nigga but that type overlap hurts my autism. Any other slave suggestions? Empoleon will handle Surf and Waterfall.

I don't know of any others desu, Bibarel has always been my main when it comes to HMs. I don't know of anything else that can use all four physical HMs.
