Ivs are horrible. I want to catch a pokemon in game with a good nature and just be able to use it for competitive battle after I reset its evs and trained it right.
If anything they should just get rid of ivs and give us more evs we could add.

I both like and despise ivs, on one hand they make breeding more interesting on the other you can end up with a min that has absolutely TERRIBLE ivs
