That's the bad part, I agree with anon.
I'm enjoying my pokemon Y, but only because I'm raising pokemon in the newest game, when sun/moon comes out, there will literally be no reason for me to play it. And I still re-play my platinum/Black2 and HG, but even thinking about letting my Y go to dust after getting gen 7 is a relief.
I could be a bit biased, but only from dissapointment.
Third Gen is the worst by far I'd say.

Something can be provably worse than something else. Gen 1 is lacking all of the refinements to the core gameplay and is riddled with poor design decisions later redacted due to not knowing they were going to make this into a thing they would keep doing. Doesn't mean you can't like it. You're confusing "objectively bad" with "objectively unenjoyable" which is in fact literally unprovable because even if someone didnt find it fun they could just say it wasn't, but lack of features that improved the games is not something up for interpretation.
