And Ness + Captn are main characters to their respective series making them relevant. Puff is just one of severalhundred pokemon, it was semi relevant in gen 1 and 2 times mostly cause of the anime, but it became completely redundant by gen 3. Its only stuck around so long because Sakurai has a massive erection over it, just like Fire Emblem.While I like both series, there's too many reps for them now.
