Poison is my favorite type. There's something satisfying about not being able to be Tox'd yourself and slowly whittling down your opponents HP. It's also not as edgy as Dark or Ghost. Poison are just chill, gross mother fuckers.

In the last two generations, we've only seen 9 new poison type Pokemon. We're tied with ground for the least amount in Gen's 5 and 6, with ice just ahead with 11 new 'mons.
We were pretty ignored though compared to ground or ice. Both have their own legendaries (let us not forget Gen V meta and it's Sand Force tactics, or Kyurem-(B?)'s reign in OU). Poison has yet to get a legendary. In Gen II we actually lost what would otherwise have been a really nice type advantage (supereffectiveness>bug).
I'm not complaining or anything, but if you look at every type individually, it does seem like Poison gets the shortest end of almost every stick.
