Nope, Fire/Fighting did it. First time was cool, the second and especially the third lost its muster.
litten's probably fake final evo > delphox > blaziken > typhlosion > charizard > emboar > infernape
For me, Fire starters begun after Typhlosion if anything.

I lost interest in Typhlosion after the fire on his back was subdued in Gen 6. He was my favorite starter before then, but now he just looks like a messed up yellow human :/
