Terror Birds look nothing like owls.
>>
It's not a terror bird it's a Ornimegalonyx
>>
Ancient giant owls were a thing. We're not too far away if at all from the prehistoric animal pattern for grass starters.

There was a real terror bird. It was a huge eagle big enough to prey on the equivalent of an Emu or Ostrich. Shit was vicious. Then the Maoris wiped it out by killing off its food source.

This is one of the reasons why we need a New Zealand region.

I guess thats just it.

The prehistoric "pattern" has to be even dumber than the Zodiac one. There are prehistoric versions of every single animal on the planet. Many with at least one example of being at an unusual size.

It's not like every present day animal just sprang into fucking existence during recorded history. They all evolved from and had cousin species existing thousands and millions of years into the past. You can easily make the same "pattern" for all the Fire and Water starters too.

And yet, Litten is most likely gonna be a tiger and IF the datamined stuff ends up meaning anything, an Ornimegalonyx is likely to be the inspiration for Rowlet.

there's a giant pre historic owl apparently

Look, a chipmunk evolved into a fucking Glyptodon.

That validates the theory more than anything else in my eyes.

Water patternfags are still solidly correct, because their pattern is broad - until we get a wholly aquatic Water starter, it's rock solid.
>>
>>26394662
It's not like owls are birds anyway
>>
>>26396059
They're clearly lizards
>>
>>26394662
>Terrorbird
>bird
>Olw
>not a bird

I swear this board is getting more and more retarded after each day.
>>
>>26396026
I wouldn't call that a pattern in the same way as the others. That one actually has reasoning behind it beyond just "muh patturn".
>>
How about dodos?
>>
hope it evolves into a fucking fighter jet made out of wood or something dumb like that so patternfags comit suicide
>>
Wait there are patternfags for Water and Grass now? I thought that there were just Zodiacfags for Fire...
