Actually, there are a lot of big changes in here:
For instance: Sandstorm now apparently does damage to all puppets period rather than just non-Earth and non-Steel puppets and as previously mentioned also makes Air Cushion stop functioning so you can annihilate EHina with Shooting Press.
Or how all the equivalents to Pokemon's Blaze/Torrent/Overgrow/Swarm got rolled into a single new ability that gives a 50% boost to all STAB moves when below 33% max HP.
Or the Byakko buff; if you use it with moves that already are perfectly accurate (i.e. the never-miss skills like Negative Mist), they will now also ignore enemy resistances. Not that big because of how those moves are BP 60, but relevant if you have Strategist for an ability or are using Negative Mist to strip away enemy stat changes.
Or how Genbu's Water and the equivalents for the other terrains now also give the puppet with them a free resist at all times (for example: FishE now gets to resist Earth).
Or how PMaribel got changed to become absolutely terrifying in terms of her base stats: her FoATK dropped to 30 but her SpATK went up to 100. Remember that her base stats double when any weather effect is up. Now realize just how absurdly hard-hitting she will be with weather up.
But by far most importantly, PRaiko's single biggest issue (i.e. having literally every single attack move she could learn outside of sign skills resisted by Light) is no more: She now learns Eye of Laplace (i.e. the BP 80 SpATK Dark type move with increased crit rate) and thus now can hit those for SE.
Be scared of Raiko. Be VERY scared.

Actually, to put things in perspective regarding just how ungodly destructive MaribelP is now if the weather is up...
Mega Mawile has a 50/105/125/55/95/50 stat spread and Pure Power for an ability, at the cost of no item slot and taking up your Mega evolution for the fight. This was banned to Ubers.
PMaribel has a 90/30/40/100/40/75 stat spread, with her ability doubling all of those but HP and speed while any weather is up.
Without any investment at all, she will be sitting on the equivalent of 90/97/97 defenses, and any investment into FoDEF or SpDEF will have double the effect, so you can have her stop a given type of offense dead in it's tracks and then murder it.
Her base 100 SpATK will, at level 100 and a black mark (i.e. +SpATK) and ZERO EV investment, be higher than a Modest fully invested in SpATK Deoxys-A (516 v 504). With full investment?
654 SpATK, just 3 less than a fully invested in SpATK Modest Kyogre wearing Choice Specs.

More than that, Yukari can manipulate and control borders. It doesn't need to connect two specific places like portals, she can create or remove a border between two universes.
She could technically remove borders between concepts, like making day and night the same, and removing the border that separates the "living" from the "dead". Also, she does not simply move using portals, she opens up a sub-space that looks like a lot of eyes, enters it, and then opens a gap whenever she wants and emerges from there.
