Almost all powers in touhou are ambiguous, Yukari for example, has the ability to "manipulate borders", but it is not a simple portal-like ability, she can remove the border from Blue to your house, or from mushrooms to comedy.
And even being as all-mighty as it sounds like, she even says that there are people that could beat her and she doesn't want to mess around. Maybe Flandre would be capable of "breaking" her ability, since Flandre power is only described as "Destroying absolutely anything", the limits of the powers in touhou are unknown.

Doujin remixes led me to the series, but it was the main series that taught me about the world. I didn't have any preconceived ideas about what the characters were based on someone else's interpretation. My argument against STARTING with fanworks is that they don't always correctly depict the world. If you want to get into Touhou for Touhou's sake, start with the world ZUN built.

this is how I know you have never played the games or you haven't played them enough
hearing the music separately is an option, but hearing it while playing is a completely different experience.
It fits in so much ways, sometimes it feels like the music is directing the game instead of the opposite and it never feels out of place.
It's something that can only be achieved because ZUN makes it all by himself, the bullet patterns, the characters, the music, they all have an unique "beat" to them.
True Administrator feels like a generic rock-ish final boss outside of the game, but while playing, it has a "fuck yeah let's fight" feel to it.
