There are GameStops in Europe. Maybe not in every country, but they're here. It really sucks that they actually fucking put the Shiny Xerneas as a code you get at stores in Europe instead of as a Wi-Fi event like the rest of the world. I would probably not have gotten mine if I already wasn't out getting my Darkrai at the same time.

Europe really is the back alley of the game world.
