If what the datamined info suggests actually ends up happening, I think I'll have some real trouble making a choice.
Right now Rowlet would be my pick but if he ends up being ground, that kinda takes away the appeal for me. An actual Flying owl to fly around the region with like a bro is cool, but as a Ground it seems.
Litten would be my second choice but him just staying mono-Fire seems boring as hell.
Popplio is fine and I dont think it deserves the hate it gets but it just doesnt do anything for me. Likely being Water/Fighting is interesting though.

To be entirely honest, the moment the trailer showed the starters I almost puked at the screen.Thanks to the fanarts, I've become attached to Rowlet somehow.
