When they introduced fairy type there were a couple of legendarys that could have been changed to fairy such as Celebi, Cresselia, etc. but GF apparently aren't changing the types of past legendarys unless if they added a new form or even a mega evolution. So Deoxys, Jirachi, Palkia etc. would all have to be given brand new forms to accompany these new typings.

I thought about Bronzong but the thing is I know the legend it's based off of. It doesn't have anything to do with space, although I guess the dex says it can change the weather. Its whole gimmick with levitate and heatproof is ruined, so a type change could prove redeeming, Bronzong has more to do with ancient artifacts and archeological digs, imo....
A new Eeveelution would surely happen, but it'd conflict with Espeon and Umbreon slightly. Since we already have Eevees based on the sun and moon, the new one'd have to be based on something else. Meteor-based could be good, though I think I'd like something along the lines of Galacteon or Galaxeon.

I thought of Musharna and Darkrai but discarded them. To be honest I'm not really sure Cresselia should even get the type change; it's based on the moon, but it's more like the pokémon of dreams. Darkrai is nightmares and the new moon...I dunno, not everything with a connection to space needs to be Cosmic type....Look at Volcarona....
Musharna evolves with a moon stone and is pretty weird even for a psychic type. Cosmic would make it a bit more relevant, but I didn't feel the connection to space was really that strong, and like Cresselia it's kinda just all about dreams.
