This should've been called "Pyroyal".
On an unrelated note, the fuck were they thinking when they gave this thing it's abilities?
Rivalry?
Unnerve?
Moxie on a special attacker?
>>26364975
>Pyroyal
Meh.
>>26365024
I kind get Rivalry flavor wise. Unnerve and Moxie make no sense though. Yeah lions are scary so are many other Pokemon. Why would this even want Unnerv intidimate is the best generic scary ability.
>>26365024
Oh no, rivalry is perfect on a lion and I would have been upset if they didn't have it. Unnerve is fitting (have you SEEN a lion? They're scary.) though intimidate would've conveyed the same thing and been more useful battlewise. Moxie is....Well, the male should've been a physical attacker....

This pokemon could have been so cool if it's mane didn't look like ketchup and mustard and was actual fire.
I'm glad we're getting a proper fucking lion pokemon.
>>26364975
i like it
>>26365197
agreed
>>26365083
>the male should've been a physical attacker
Dumb meme. Roaring = special attacks (Hyper Voice STAB). Tell me, which sex has the iconic roar?
What it should have been was
Male = Normal/Fire, bulky mixed attacker with Intimidate
Female = pure Normal, fast physical attacker with Moxie

Fu

but anon his mane is literally fire
>>26365250
No, charmander's tail is fire.
Pyroar's mane looks nothing like fire, either the effect such as flamethrower or any other fire on any other pokemon.
It's impossible for it to be fire.
>>26365276
look again anon
his mane is literally fire
>>26364975
>lion pokemon
>deviantart tier
Why
>>26365226
>bullying litleo
I don't approve!
>>26365083
....In hindsight the fact that this didn't happen after male and female meowstic having different moves and abilities is baffling.
>>26365281
No. It's just super heated fur but not actual fire like Charmander, Ponyta, etc.
>>26365320
>he still doesn't get it
should I explain?
>>26365320
>>26365327
You said "literally" fire, meaning you think it's actual fire.
Yes, we get it, it's supposed to look like fire, but it actually looks stupid.
>>26365597
His mane spells out the japanese symbol for fire.
His mane is literally "fire".
>>26365622
No it is literally a mane of fur that spells out the japanese symbol for fire.
>>26365650
Fair enough, i'm not even that other guy. Just some passer by that thought you were confused, friendo
>>26365597
the mane is "literally" fire because it has fire kanji in it
I'd give it credence to that at least, and it gives its part Normal an idea
