I feel like I'd enjoy Pokemon much more if I was a furry or scaly.

When I played Red/Blue as a child it never occured to me to give a Pokémon both Wrap and Toxic. I am pretty sure on a fast Pokémon that would destroy pretty much anything.

Stadium 1 taught kids the meaning of rage quit, since Lance had a Dragonair who used Thunder Wave and Wrap.
Most rental pokemon couldn't kill it in one Ice attack (since rentals had weak stats and bad move sets), so it was almost always guaranteed to get combo started. After that, you just had to hope Wrap's accuracy wasn't in his favor.
Also, since it was Dragon-air-, it didn't have the double Ice weakness its evolved form. It could potentially shrug off Ice Attacks better than its bigger brother.
