That's red pandas. Giants have traits of raccoon but are much closer genetically to bears and not all that related to red pandas either.

Those are the eight species of bear on the planet. Anything else is a sub-category (grizzly, kodiak) or a hybrid (grolar bear).

A lot of books still list only seven, as the panda was, until semi-recently, considered part of the raccoon family. DNA studies have confirmed, that the giant panda is more closely related to the bear.
