Give it a rest already. Gen 3 had Machoke move your shit around in the over world, and it could only be obtained through evolution, not in the wild, and RSE had like 130+ new Pokemon along with old ones

Unova dex was fucking awful. The "only new pokemon" gimmick ended up forcing them to make a lot of shitty, pointless pokemon that only existed as dex filler.
Kalos dex being a fucking wasteland was disappointing, but it was still better than what Unova did.

I don't know why, but I ended up enjoying the "no old Pokemon" dex of BW Unova much less than I thought I would, and it was one of the features I was really hyped for before the release. Probably had something to do with the majority of Unova dex being ugly or forgettable in general.
