Anyone else here love all three starters? It's the best trio since gen II. How would you rank them?
II>VII>I>IV>III>V
Personally I'm picking Litten. Just because I'm into edgy Pokemon like Houndoom, Zoroark, etc. But Popplio is fantastic. Might even go for all three this time.

I like none. Pokemon is truly dead.
I like the Alola starters, but I think as a trio Kalos has by and far the best starters.

As a whole. Still think Greninja is the best but he doesn't make up for the other two.
Looks like gen IV is generally well regarded. I like Torterra a lot myself. So happy they made my favorite dinosaur and great typing too.
Don't know where else to put this, but it's about starters so here's a thought.
Last gen the starters were based on a specific trio (knight, wizard, rogue). Well maybe this gen they are going to continue the trend with having a specific trio the starters were based on. Here's the thought: we have a water sea lion, a fire cat that looks like it will be a tiger, and a grass owl.

I = IV > VI = III > II > V
V > II > VI = I > VII = III = IV
All of the starter trios are good as a whole. VII can still go up depending on how great the evolutions look.

I agree op, this is definitely the best its been in a long time. Rowlet is great, although the dick on its face is distracting. Litten is top tier and even Popplio is cute. I think everyone bullies it cuz it looks gay, but that doesn't bother me
